Wii Hack For DVD Playback
Even though all of the Ninetendo Wii’s games are on DVD media Ninendo decided against including a DVD player function on the system. I’m guessing it’s not on Nintendo’s list of things to update since they are still out-selling the competition month after month. In order to get over this blunder by Nintendo some crafty modders have figured out how to enable not only DVD playback,but a way to install all sorts of homebrew applications onto the Wii. Over on Engadget they have posted a tutorial on how to use the Twilight Princess hack in order to install all of the aforementioned software. The best part about it all is it doesn’t require the opening of your system or the changing of any hardware.
